Want to express your own creativity? Want to turn your cornhole boards into a DIY project? We have just the thing for you! Our Unfinished Cornhole Boards are exactly what you would expect: Well-constructed, regulation-sized game sets without any staining, paint, or decals. If you got your own wood, built a cornhole board, and sanded it down, you would more or less have what you’re buying here. We’ve saved you the trouble, however, and we’ve constructed these boards to the usual high standards you’ve come to expect from Custom Cornhole Boards. All that’s left is for you to design them as you see fit!

Fully Customizable
While we specialize in finding and creating custom cornhole solutions for our customers, some people enjoy the artistic freedom of doing it themselves. We can respect that! If you fall into this category, you’ve arrived at the right place. These unfinished cornhole boards are the perfect blank canvas to which you can apply your masterpiece. This is a great solution for anyone who wants to have a really unique cornhole set for the purposes of advertising, theming a party or wedding, or using in conjunction with one of our other solutions like wraps and decals.

Paint it Yourself
Our unfinished cornhole boards make it easy for you to embark on a DIY painting project. You shouldn’t need to worry about sanding or filling holes; our boards are ready for primer right out of the gate. We recommend using a good Rustoleum primer that gives your paint a solid surface upon which to stick. You might consider applying this primer with a discardable brush or sponge because you’re probably going to have a tough time cleaning it afterwards. Primer has a tendency to stick!

After priming your board, you’re ready to lay out your intended design and get to painting. A quart of exterior semi-gloss enamel paint should be sufficient for any one board. If you’re planning to apply multiple colors to the board, of course, you’ll need a quart of each. There shouldn’t be any reason to buy more than a quart of any color, however; the surface of the board is only 24” by 48”, so that should be a sufficient amount. Finish off the board with a clear coat polyurethane finish, and you’re all done!

Use Our Decals to Spice Up the Design
If you find, even after painting, that your boards are looking a little plain, we encourage you to browse our extensive collection of cornhole decals. We offer many different designs and options, so take a look and see if there’s something that strikes your fancy. Sometimes it only takes a sticker or two to turn a boring cornhole board into a striking visual game.

Browse Our Wraps for a Whole New Decoration
These unfinished cornhole boards are a perfect match for our cornhole board wraps. These wraps cover the surface of the board completely, allowing you to customize your game sets even beyond what you can achieve with a paintbrush!
